I love that Charlotte’s nurturing instincts stop when Brian comes into the picture. It’s such a normal reaction. But I also love Kurt’s ability to empathize and not excuse. It’s funny, because a few pages back, Char was talking to Kurt and giving insight, and now the situation has reversed a bit. Just feels like such a grounded conversation. The characters are just so well-written. I know I say this a LOT, David, so I hope it doesn’t feel repetitive; I just want to convey what a stellar job you’re doing.
No, it doesn’t feel repetitive mostly because I love hearing it! Thank you. Kurt can well imagine Brian’s regrets–how he must feel having lost this wonderful woman. What he can’t imagine is how he let it happen.
