  1. It’s quiet…
    … maybe too quiet.
This chapter gives me the “vibe” of “the calm before the storm”.

    1. But the question is, a storm for who? 🙂

      1. Thing is, we (the audience) already know that she’s influenced someone into leaking private information on Charlotte — someone who should know better…
…so who else has she got her claws into, either as a “backup plan”, or as a patsy/fall-guy, to act as an escape from consequences?

  2. We are going to show Kurt the power of the Shut-up-and-just-hug solution to most problems.

As someone who’s been stalked before, he’s being a little insensitive. >.>

    1. I see what your saying and it’s a very frustrating part of when there are problems in a relationship. Men want a solution and women want support. I totally approached this from the male perspective. Kurt thought she needed a pep talk so that’s what he did. I’m sorry you found him insensitive, but he was really just trying to “solve” the immediate problem of Charlotte being worried and down in the dumps. But thank you for taking the characters seriously enough to offer criticism. Kurt will try to do better next time. 🙂

  3. Great chapter David! ❤️ Another one with a lot of work to get the everything right. I think you got Charlotte’s expressions to show a lot of softness and sensitivity in this one. Subtle with a lot of feeling. The warm light of the environment also played that up.
Now Kurt, stop talking with your mouth full! Haha. Just kidding. Kurt looks extra sweet and innocent in his outfit and the lighting, and so does Charlotte. 😊

    1. Thanks so much, Blue. Although I’m not sure how Kurt’s gonna feel about being called “sweet and innocent.” 😀

  4. NGL, Kurt’s joke wasn’t at all funny since Sophia has proven to be not only unhinged but by framing Charlotte for arson she’s also proven to be dangerous. Making jokes about her being there in the restaurant was pretty out of line. I feel like Kurt isn’t taking the situation as seriously as he should be. I’m really enjoying this series! I’m looking forward to seeing how it’s going to end. 🙂

    1. Mmmmm… might have been a little out of line, but she’s used to his sense of humor. Even under normal circumstances she’d have told him he’s an idiot. 🙂
Your comments are very much appreciated, 3Diva.

  5. The lighting and expressions are wonderful in this, David. I think Kurt was being a typical guy trying use logic to ease Charlotte’s feelings with his pep talk. Although, having worked with women who have been stalked the whole she’s in the corner thing would have pushed a lot of buttons. One of the problems for people that are stalked is that no one takes them seriously. The kid about it. Tell them that they are paranoid. Or simply say they are overreacting. Unfortunately, that often happens right before the stalker takes things to the next level and physically harms them. So, I think you actually portrayed the scene pretty much how it goes for a woman being stalked with a boyfriend who might not really understand the level of her fear or anxiety over the stalking. Your attention to detail continues to amaze me every time I read one of your chapters. It is crystal clear how much time and effort you put into each of these chapters. Well done! Looking forward to the next chapter

    1. Oh, Kurt doesn’t take this lightly. He’s right in the thick of it, remember. He just has a more optimistic view of life than Charlotte, and that has to do with their backgrounds. Also, he can be a goofball at times. 😀
