This one hit me in the feels on a more personal level. Had a former fiancee, and she and I did the long-distance thing for awhile. She’d always kidnap one of my shirts whenever we’d get to spend time together, and she’d wear it as a nightshirt, because it smelled like me. The relationship (obviously) didn’t work out, but I share that because (once again), your writing is just so very human. Also, Kurt’s question to Charlotte is perfect. DIALOGUE IS SO GOOD.
Women tend to have a strong olfactory response to their partner. I thought it made sense that Charlotte would detect Kurt’s aroma in his sheets and be delighted by it.
