No wonder she’s passed out.
It’s a lot of exhausting work, trying to follow up on all the dead-ends they’ve been leading her through.
One of Charlotte’s main characteristics is her pessimism. This is exacerbated by the fact that a) Kurt’s not around to tamp it down, and b) the reason for her anxiety is because Kurt’s not around.
